Overview

OVG/Spectrum Catering has an immediate opening for a full-time Payroll Coordinator. The Coordinator’s daily activities support both the HR Department as well as our employees. This position is ideal for an energetic and professional individual that does not mind wearing multiple hats and is able to multi-task at the highest level in a fast-paced event driven industry! Being well organized is a big part of supporting this department.

 

Summary

Perform payroll related duties including, but not limited to, payroll administration, payroll reconciliation, time keeping system support and support for other HR functions as needed.

 

Working Conditions and Environment

The employee works primarily in a large office building

 

This role will pay a salary of $28.37 to $36.06.

 

For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist our events, venues, and festival divisions with payroll entries into the timekeeping system
  • Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees under the guidance of Corporate Payroll
  • Coordinate employee payroll processing including off-cycle pay, status changes, deductions, manual checks, adjustments, special pays, reversals, voids, etc.
  • Communicate with all 50+ venue managers to confirm hours and tips weekly
  • Complete audits of recordkeeping, reconciliations of processed payroll run,  employee direct deposits, wage assignments, IRS withholdings, etc.
  • Verify and confirm payroll data being processed bi-weekly
  •  Assist HR Department as needed
  • Working knowledge of payroll accounting procedures and practices required.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize work activities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold self and others accountable in meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of ADP payroll system
  • Team player; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits initiative, is a self-motivator and able to work autonomously in some instances

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with multi-pay frequency and multi-state payroll processing of 1,000+ employees.
  • Thorough knowledge & understanding of ADP Enterprise Payroll & ADP e-Time.  TimeSaver & ADP GL Experience a plus.
  • Advanced level skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great organization skills
