Responsible for assisting with the assembling, disassembling, and maintenance of stages during theater productions. Provides assistance backstage before, during and directly after productions for a variety of technical needs. Helps setting up and testing sound, lighting, and other equipment according to set requirements. Follows production supervisor instructions, assisting performers backstage, and making adjustments to sets.
Salary Range: $25-30/hr

Keeping stage clean by sweeping and mopping between performances and removing any waste. Building sets and performing a variety of backstage and maintenance tasks. Assembling equipment and breaking down when the show is over. Inspecting lighting, sound, and other equipment. Ensuring that everything is plugged into the correct power source, functioning properly, and storing appropriately at the end of an event.
Highschool Diploma
