Overview

The Event Staff primary function is to use knowledge of the building and its services to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons entering the facility.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $10 to $15.00.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive and enjoyable environment with positive attitude for all guests attending an event 
  • Responsibilities may include ticket scanning, ticket taking, partial security screening, guest questions, responding to incidents on venue property, directing guests to seating locations, etc 
  • Ensure all guests are following venue, act, or promoter specific rules and regulations
  • Provide assistance to patrons with special needs or wheelchair access
  • Direct guests in a variety of situations including emergencies
  • Monitor and report any potential unsafe situations to direct supervisor 
  • Help artists to
  • Hand out flyers or other promotional items
  • Find opportunities to improve the guest experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Employee must be at least 18 years old  
  • High School diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred  
  • Access to reliable transportation 
  • Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays dependent on events schedule 
  • Stand and walk for four to six hours at a time 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment
