Overview

The Box Office Supervisor position reports to the Director of Ticketing. They assist with the day to day operations of the box office such as ticket operations, parking, event creations, financial reports, and maintaining box office policies and procedures.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $12 to $13.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial reconciliations such as daily reports, event statements and monthly reports
  • Supervise Box Office/Parking staff, including hiring, training, scheduling & payroll
  • Understand & utilize ticketing software for sales, event builds, internal seating orders & will call
  • Maintain box office controls & building policies
  • Oversee the maintenance and reporting of ticket scanners
  • Retain knowledge of building seating charts, event ticketing information, & refund/exchange policy for customer assistance
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma, Bachelors Degree from accredited college preferred
  • Capable of working a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Prior sales and customer service experience
  • The physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
  • Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and weather conditions
  • Experience handling/reconciling cash/credit cards and the ability to calculate money with proficiently
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
  • Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in a position in an arena, convention center, public assembly facility, or similar location preferred
  • One to two years of experience in Ticket Operations, Ticket Master or Paciolan preferred
