Overview

CFG Bank Arena is offering a paid internship program for the Summer & Fall Semester. We are looking for individuals who want professional level experience and have the initiative, skills, and drive to excel. This program will give individuals an opportunity to work alongside professionals in the live entertainment and venue management industry. This internship will provide experience with Graphic Design. Interns will gain working knowledge of Graphic Design in an arena setting. The Graphic Design Intern will support the CFG Bank Arena digital footprint inclusive of social media, website, app, and digital assets. 

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

About the Venue

Opening February 2023, CFG Bank Arena is a 13,000+ seat, reimagined world class concert and entertainment venue. A premier destination for fans and artists, CFG Bank Arena will showcase over $200MM+ in renovations, including modernized, state-of-the-art acoustics, superior suites and exclusive club levels, premium contemporary seating, reimagined concourses, upscale culinary experiences in food & beverage selections, and more! Located in the heart of Baltimore, the venue will include a new exterior façade, green scaping and enhanced lighting, this iconic landmark will offer guests the ultimate entertainment experience in town. Rich in history, uniting fans with memories old and new, CFG Bank Arena will host 120+ shows annually including the hottest artists on the planet. Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Expectations:

 

  • Design and produce content for social media, Arena website, public displays, and other mediums.
  • Assist in photo editing shots taken from event days to use for social media and promotional tools.
  • Assist with content creation and scheduling for social media channels to support events, venue, guest services, promotional activity, and premium sales goals, etc.  
  • A creative eye for memes, hashtags, and other social media trends.
  • Assist with other duties as it relates to the marketing department & the requests by leadership team. 
  • Interns are a crucial part of our department; responsibility and accountability are a large component of the experience.
  • Events include family shows, concerts, sporting events and several special events.
  • Be willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain sensitive information.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Current Junior or Senior at an accredited university or graduated within the past 6-12 months.
  • Experience in graphic design.
  • Proven ability to think strategically with a willingness to roll up sleeves and execute projects. 
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn and openness to coaching.
