Xtream Arena and the GreenState Family Fieldhouse is currently seeking outgoing, motivated people to join our Patnerships/ sales/ premium department. These assistants will get hands-on experience hosting first-class events, including but not limited to, Iowa Heartlanders ECHL Hockey, University of Iowa Volleyball, concerts, family shows and other events. Post-graduate opportunities may be available with other venues within the OVG360 family. Compensation is provided.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $11.00 to $15.00.

Xtream Arena powered by Mediacom & GreenState Family Fieldhouse serves as a highly accessible and most importantly right sized venue for concerts, family shows, and special events. Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse fulfills a longstanding community and economic development void in Coralville and surrounding areas. The 5,100 fixed seat Xtream Arena (6,600 concert capacity) serves as host home for University of Iowa Volleyball and the Iowa Heartlanders ECHL hockey tenant. With direct connectivity to the 30,000 sq. ft 5-court fieldhouse, the facility immediately enables this community to become a signature attractor of both amateur and professional sporting events.

This position will work directly with the Director of Partnerships to help execute venue partnerships contracts at Xtream Arena, GreenState Family Fieldhouse, and The Rink at Coral Ridge and premium seating (suites and club seats) for Xtream Arena. Tasks will be assigned to help generate premium seating revenue, prospect new partnership prospects and research partnership categories. This position will assist in event day preparation of venue partnerships and premium seating areas prior to the event. This position will support the Director of Partnerships with premium seating areas during events while potentially performing other duties as assigned throughout the arena. The goal of this internship is to provide students with hands on experience in the premium seating and partnership sales process while also while also supporting the fulfillment of current, and new, premium seating and advertising partnerships.

• At least one (1) academic year remaining at a 2- or 4- year program
• Available to work approximately 15-20 hours/week in an office setting
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
