The stadium is surrounded by 110 acres of grass and landscape. The individual in this role will be responsible in maintaining the outside landscape of the stadium. At times they will be involved in game field maintenance and setup/breakdown of events held on the stadium pitch.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15 to $18.

Pratt and Whitney stadium is home of the UCONN Huskies football team and hosts multiple sporting events. 

• Assist in mowing, trimming, and weeding 110 acres of property
• Maintain all mulch and flower beds
• Perform basic maintenance to landscaping equipment
• Game day setup and break down to include sideline covers, pylons, nets
• Field Clean up and divot repair
• Help with major projects on the stadium field

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work safely and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Previous experience preferred, but not required
